AN ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING AND PERMANENTLY
ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF AN EASEMENT LYING SOUTH OF
TRACTS 9 AND 10 AND NORTH OF TRACT 24, LAKE HIGHLANDS
COMPANY SUBDIVISION, SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 22, RANGE 26,
WHICH LIES EAST OF GRAND HIGHWAY, WEST OF WILLOW LAKE
AND NORTH OF EAST JACKS LAKE ROAD, CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 8, PAGES 17 TO 23
INCLUSIVE, PUBLIC RECORDS, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida hereby ordains that:
SECTION 1.
That portion of an easement located within the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida
as hereinafter descnbed, is hereby closed and permanently abandoned:
That portion of an easement lying south of Tracts 9 and 10 and north of
Tract 24, Lake Highlands Company Subdivision, Section 20, Township 22,
Range 26.
SECTION 2.
This closing is done pursuant to the authority of the Charter of the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida, and the general laws of the State of Florida.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of this ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply or affect any other provision of this
ordinance, except to the extent that the entire section or part of the section may be
inseparable in meaning and effect from the section to which such holding shall apply.

SECTION 5.
This ordinance shall be published as provided by law and it shall become law and take
effect immediately upon its second reading and final passage.
First Reading this 14th day of February, 1995.
Second Reading this 28th day of February, 1995.
