MISCELLANEOUS ORDINANCE

AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF SECTION
3 OF ORDINANCE 234-M ESTABLISHING A RATE SCHEDULE FOR
SANITATION SERVICE, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE, AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
HEREBY FINDS THAT AN EMERGENCY SITUATION EXISTS IN REGARD TO THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE RATE SCHEDULE FOR SANITATION SERVICE AND
HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
SECTION 1.
The effective date of Section 3. Basic Rate for Sanitation Service
of Ordinance 234-M is hereby repealed and changed to indefinite.
The effective date of Sections 1. Basic Rate Schedule for Water
Service and Section 2. Basic Rate Schedule for Sewer Service
remain October 1, 1991.
SECTION 2.
This is an Emergency Ordinance enacted under the provisions of
Section 20 of the Charter of the City of Clermont.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of this Emergency Ordinance in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
BECTION 4.
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by
any court of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not
apply or affect any other provision of this ordinance, except to
the extent that the entire section or part of the section may be
inseparable in meaning and effect from the section to which such
holding shall apply.
SECTION 5.
This Emergency Ordinance shall be published as provided by law and
it shall become law and take effect immediately and be effective
for a period of sixty days, at which time it will automatically be
repealed.
