AN ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING AND PERMANENTLY
ABANDONING AN UNNAMED PLATTED STREET LYING EAST OF GRAND
HIGHWAY AND SOUTH OF SR 50, ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL PLAT OF
LAKE HIGHLANDS COMPANY, CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 2, PAGES 25, PUBLIC RECORDS,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA; RESERVING TO THE CITY OF CLERMONT AN
EASEMENT FOR INGRESS EGRESS, AND MAINTENANCE, UTILITIES AND
SANITARY SEWER; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH,
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida
hereby ordains that:
SECTION 1.
That portion of an unnamed platted street located within the City
of Clermont, Lake County, Florida as hereinafter described, is
hereby closed and permanently abandoned:
All that portion of an unnamed platted street lying south of
SR 50 and north of the West one-half of Tract 24 according to
the official plat of Lake Highlands Company, City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida; Recorded i.n Plat Book 2, Page 25, Public
Records, Lake County, Florida.
Reserving to the City of Clermont an easement for ingress and
egress, maintenance, utilities and sanitary sewer.
SECTION 2.
This closing is done pursuant to the authority of the Charter of
the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, and the general laws of
the State of Florida.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of this ordinance in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by
any court of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not
apply or affect any other provision of this ordinance, except to
the extent that the entire section or part of the section may be
inseparable in meaning and effect from the section to which such
holding shall apply.

This ordinance shall be published as provided by law and it shall
become law and take effect immediately upon its second reading and
final passage.
