ORDINANCE NO. 212-M
AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF
THE CITY OF CLERMONT, REFERRED TO IN SECTION 26-1 OF ORDINANCE NO.
245-C, APPENDIIC "A" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; REZONING THE REAL
PROPERTIES DESCRIBED HEREIN AS SHOWN BELOW, PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida
hereby ordains that:
SECTION 1.
The official Zoning Map of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida referred to in Section 26-1 of Ordinance No. 245- C,
Appendix "A" of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by
rezoning the following described property as shown:
FROM M-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
TO C-1 LIGHT COMMERCIAL BUSINESS DISTRICT
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Clermont beginning on the W. line of
Section 24-22-25 a distance of 25' NE'LY measured at right
angles from center line of SCLRR Co. main track, run SE'LY
parallel with said center line 174', turn right 90 deg and run
3.5', SE'LY parallel with said center line 300', SE'LY 121'
to pt. 7.7' NE'LY, measured at right angles to center line,
NE' LY 3 . 7' to pt. 25' NE' LY measured radially from center line
of said main track SE'LY parallel with center line of main
track, 54' to pt. 100' W'LY from W. line of West Avenue
extended N'LY, NW'LY parallel with said West Avenue extended
to Lake Minneola, W'LY along lake to W. line of said Section
24, south along W. line of Section to POB.
AND, Clermomnt part of unnumbered block bounded on N. by RR
R-O-W, on S. by Osceola St. on E. by W. R-O-W of West Avenue,
and on W. by W. line of Section 24-22-25, less triangular
parcel described as: Beginning at a point on S. R-O-W of RR
and W. line of Section 24, and run SE'LY along said R-O-W
100', SW'LY to a point on W. line of section that is 200'
south of POB, north to POB and less RR depot on corner of West
Avenue and Osceola Street.
AND, That part of inactive fromer ACL RR R-O-W bounded by the
west line of Section 24-22-25 on the W. and the west line of
West Avenue R-O-W owned by the City of Clermont.
SECTION 2.
All Ordinances or parts of this Ordinance in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.

SECTION 3.
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by
any court of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not
apply to or affect any other provision of this Ordinance, except
to the extent that the entire section or part of the section may
be inseparable in meaning and effect from the section to which such
holding shall apply.
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall be published as provided by law and it shall
become law and shall take effect immediately upon its Second
Reading and Final Passage.
