AN ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING AND PERMANENTLY ABANDONING A PORTION
OF HUNT STREET BOUNDED ON THE WEST BY THE EASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY
LINE OF THE UNNAMED STREET AROUND SPRING LAKE AND BOUNDED ON THE
EAST BY THE SOUTHERLY EXTENSION OF THE EAST LINE OF THE WEST 1/2
OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 22
SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST, ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL MAP OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA RECORDED IN OFFICIAL RECORD BOOK 8,
PAGES 17-23 INCLUSIVE, PUBLIC RECORDS, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION, PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida hereby
ordains that:
SECTION 1.
That portion of Hunt Street Street located within the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida as hereinafter described, is hereby closed and
permanently abandoned:
That portion of Hunt Street bounded on the West by the Easterly
right-of-way of the unnamed street around Spring Lake and
bounded on the East by the Southerly extension of the East line
of the West 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of
of Section 19, Township 22 South, Range 26 East according to
the Official Map of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida,
recorded in Official Record Book 8, Pages 17-23 inclusive,
Public Records of Lake County, Florida.
SECTION 2.
This closing is done pursuant to the authority of the Charter of the
City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, and the general laws of the
State of Florida.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of this ordinance in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by
any court of competent jurisdiction, such ajudications shall not
apply or affect any other provision of this ordinance, except to
the extent that the entire section or part of the section may be
inseparable in meaning and effect from the section to which such
holding shall apply.
