2011-64 Amendment to December 9, 2008 through September 30, 2011 current Collective Bargaining Agreement International Union of Police Associations, AFL -CIO Clermont Police Officers Local 6013/6014 ( "Union ") and City of Clermont, Florida ( "City"), collectively referred to as ( "parties "), agree to amend the parties' current collective bargaining agreement as follows: WHEREAS, the parties recognize the financial difficulties facing the City in fiscal year 2011 -2012; and WHEREAS, Article 31 of the parties' current collective bargaining agreement provides for a 2.5 percent pay increase for all bargaining unit members effective October 1, 2011, a 2.0 percent annual step pay increase for all bargaining unit members not in a Sergeant classification and an annual merit pay increase for all bargaining unit members in a Sergeant classification; NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: 1. The Union, on a one -time, non precedential basis, agrees to suspend the bargaining unit member's October 1, 2011 and annual step and merit pay increases in the current collective bargaining agreement provided no other City employee receives merit or cost of living increases (cola). This one -time suspension shall not prejudice the bargaining unit member's right to receive the October 1 and annual step and merit pay increases for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2012 thru September 30, 2013.
