AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING AND PERMANENTLY
ABANDONING A PORTION OF AN UNNAMED STREET ON THE NORTH
SIDE OF LAKE WINONA RUNNING FROM EIGHTH STREET WEST TO THAT
PART OF AN UNNAMED STREET AND LINDEN STREET HAVING ALREADY
BEEN CLOSED AND ABANDONED, ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL MAP OF
THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
PROVIDIDNG FOR PUBLICATION, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida
hereby ordains that:
SECTION 1.
That portion of an unnamed street on the north side of Lake Winona
located within the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, as herein-
after described, is hereby closed and permanently abandoned:
All that portion of an unnamed street lying north
of Lake Winona and lying south of Lots 1, 2, 3 and
17 of Block 88, City of Clermont according to the
plat recorded in Plat Book 8, Pages 17 through 23
inclusive, Public Records of Lake County, Florida.
Reserving to the City of Clermont an easement for
utilities, water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage;
and ingress and egress to maintain the same.
SECTION 2.
This closing is done pursuant to the authority of the Charter
of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, and the general laws
of the State of Florida.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of this Ordinance in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid
by any Court of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not
apply or affect any other provision of this Ordinance, except to the
extent that the entire section or part of the section may be insepar-
able in meaning and effect from the secton to which such holding shall
apply.
SECTION 5.
This Ordinance shall be published as provided by law and it shall
become law and shall take effecton the date of its Second Reading and
Final Passage.

PETITION FOR STREET CLOSING
The petitioner hereby requests the City Council of the City
of Clermont to consider the closing and permanently abandoning of
an unnamed street on the North side of Lake Winona running from
Eighth Street West to that part of an unnamed street and Linden
Street having already been closed and abandoned described as
follows:
That part of an unnamed street lying North of Lake Winona and
lying South of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 17 of Block 88, City of Clermont
according to the plat recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17 through
23 inclusive, Public Records of Lake County, Florida.
1. Petitioner's full name and mailing address is:
Herman Reed and Julia Andrew Reed, 2409 Third Avenue, Los
Angeles, California 90018.
2. The legal description of petitioners' property involved
is
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 17, Block 88, City of Clermont, according to
the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17 through 23
inclusive, Public Records of Lake County, Florida. LESS and
excluding: Begin at the intersection of the East line of Lot 1,
Block 88 and the North line of the NW 1/4 of Section 25, Township
22 South, Range 25 East, and run thence Southerly along said lot
line 36 feet, thence North 88°51'15" West 200 feet, more or less,
to a point on the West line of Lot 4, Block 88; thence Northerly
along said lot line 32 feet to the North line of the NW 1/4, of
Section 25, Township 22 South, Range 25 East; thence East along
Section line 200 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
3. A plot plan showing the location of the street
requested to be closed and permanently abandoned is attached.
4. The purpose for which the street is requested to be
closed is to provide petitioner unencumbered access to Lake
Winona and use of the property between petitioner's property and
Lake Winona.
5. Name and address of all property owners abutting the
portion of the street requested to be closed and abandoned is:
