AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A RATE SCHEDULE FOR THE FUNDING
OF OPERATION, MAINTENANCE AND SIMPLE REPLACEMENT COSTS OF THE SEWER
SERVICE, REPEALING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE 144-M AND ALL OTHERS IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE, AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, hereby
ordains that:
SECTION 1. BASIC RATE SCHEDULE FOR SEWER SERVICE:
A. Single Family Dwellings .................................$13.50
B. Multiple Family Dwellings, including centrally metered
apartments and mobile homes .............................$12.95
C. Commercial Establishments:
1. Food Establishments seating less than
twenty (20) persons ................... ..............$29.90
Additional for each seat over twenty (20) .............. .90
2. General Business, Offices, Churches & Clubs ..........$17.95
3. General Business with Public Restrooms ...............$26.95
4. Schools and Day Care Centers ............ ............$17.95

VARIABLE RATE:
In addition to the Basic Rate listed above, a variable rate based on
1,000 gallons of water used after the first 3,000 gallons will
apply at the rates listed below, with a maximum variable charge of
$3.00. The maximum variable charge on multi-family dwellings or
multiple commercial establishments will be considered $3.00 per unit
or commercial establishment.

Rates for industrial use shall be established upon receipt of
application for sewer service. The rate will be based on
volume, treatability, composition, and strength of industrial
waste.
SECTION 2. NOTIFICATION
At least annually in conjunction with regular billing, each customer
will be notified of the rate attributable to wastewater treatment
services.
SECTION 3. BIENNIAL REVIEW
