2012-27 CONTINUING CONTRACT AGREEMENT
TASK AUTHORIZATION NO. 2
BETWEEN MAGELLAN ADVISORS, LLC. AND
THE CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA
This Task Authorization is by and between MAGELLAN ADVISORS, LLC., 1111 LINCOLN RD , 4 111
FLOOR, MIAMI BEACH, FL, hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT" and the CITY OF
CLERMONT, hereinafter referred to as "CITY
1. This Task Authorization expressly modifies the Continuing Contract Agreement between the
CONSULTANT and the CITY dated August 9, 2011 and in the event of a conflict, the terms
and conditions of this Task Authorization shall prevail
2. In addition to all other terms and conditions contained in the Agreement, the
CONSULTANT shall provide Broadband Technical and Financial Planning services
as noted in the attached description of services dated April 3, 2012 In consideration
for, and upon, the satisfactory completion of said services, the CITY shall pay the
CONSULTANT the amount set forth in the attached Task Authorization
3 The CONSULTANT shall complete the services to be provided within sixty (60)
calendar days of the date the Task Authorization is approved.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have made and executed this Agreement for the purposes
herein expressed on the dates set forth below.

Scope:
Broadband Technical Plan
The broadband technical plan will provide a conceptual technical design of the municipal network, including outside
plant, inside plant, last -mile, backbone, equipment and network management. This section will also identify any gaps in
the current network from the network assessment and recommend necessary build -out, retrofit and/or conversions
Different technologies and architectures will be identified to suit existing and future needs Any costs of network
expansion and adaptation will be represented in the financial sections of the plan
Broadband Financial Plan
The financial plan will determine the viability and financial aspects of a municipal broadband project to allow City
leaders to make informed decisions about if and how to invest in municipal broadband We provide all financial
components relative to the broadband entity for the penod (10 years), including capital and operational budgeting for
construction and operation of the network, as well as financial analysis for payback and return on investment
Deliverables:
-The City of Clermont Broadband Technical and Financial Plan
- Electronic and paper delivery of the plan
- Onsite meetings and conference calls as needed to complete the planning sections
- Presentation of sections to City of Clermont project representatives
-A forward - looking document to determine next steps in the project
Cost:
$12,500
