AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 38 OF CHAPTER VIII OF THE
REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA.
SECTION I: That Section 38 of Chapter VIII of the Revised
General Ordinances of the City of Clermont, Florida, be amended to
read as follows:
Section 38. All monies received by the City of Clermont
shall be paid out only by check signed by the Clerk, or, if bonded, by
the Deputy Clerk in the absence of the Clerk, provided, however, this
shall not prevent the Clerk's office maintaining a petty cash account in
an amount determined by Council for change and payment in cash of
daily expenses, if any.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall become effective at 12:01
A.M. January 1, 1961.
