~SECTION 1. ~om and after the pas~age of this ordinanc~,
it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpora-
tion to erect or build, or cause to be erected or .
built, any gasoline pump, tank or other similar de-
vice, in such manner as to cause any ryart of same to
encroach upon, over or under any street, avenue or
alley in the City of Clermont; it s~~ll also be unlaw-
ful to erect or cause to r.HL'erected any building, shed
or structure which projects over or across the side-
walk into the street; it shall also be unlawful to
erect or cause to be erected any device for the dis-
charging of gasoJine into vehicles ':¡hile such e-e-
hicles ßre stationed upon any street, avenue or alley
in the ity of Clermont.

Si<JCrl'IOn 2. All persons hereafter Greeting or causing
to be erected gasoline pl~PS, filling stations and
similar devices shall òe añd are hereby required to
locate such devises 8ntirely within the' property lines,
and no part of same shall project UP0'l.,· over, under or
across any sidewalk or street.
SBCTIon 3. Nothing in t:Üs ordinance shall affect any
gaso:' ine fillinG station or device ì'rhich at the time
of the passasG of this ordinance is already in oper-
ation.
SECTION 4. Any person convicted in the Mayor's court
of the violation of any of the provisions of this
ordlnance shall be pu~ished by a fine of not less than
One Hundred dollars, nor more than Five Hundred Dollars,
or by impri ~'onment in the common jail of the City for
not less than ten days nor more than sixty days, or
by both such fine and imprisonment at the discretion
of the Mayor.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall become effective upon
its passage and approval by the Mayor.
