ORDINANCE NUMBER .3¿
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE RIDING OF BICYCLES
ON CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF CLERMONT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C OONCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT.
SECTION 1. That from and after the passage of this
ordinanoe it shall be unlawful for any person to ride a
bioyole upon the following streets in the City of Clermont:
On Montrose Street between Sé~enth and Eighth Streets; on
Eighth Street between Montrose Street and Minneola Avenue.
All persons riding bioyoles upon approaching the portions
of the streets mentioned herein must dismount and, if the
bioyole is oarried into the territory bounded by these streets,
it must be pushed by hand on the sidewalk and not in the street.
SECTION 2. This ordinanoe shall not apply to bioyoles
that are operated for oommeroial purposes.
SECTION 3. Any person oonvicted in the munioipal oourt
for the violation of this ordinanoe shall be fined not more than
$5.00 nor less than $1.00 in the disoretion of the Mayor.
SECTION 4. This ordinanoe shall take effeot upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
