ORDINANCE NO. 3 ~
AN ORDINANCE AFFECTING LICENSES IN THE CITY OF CLERMONT AND
PROVIDING FOR A LICENSE FEE IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE-HALF OF THE
LICENSE FEE COLLECTED BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA ON A LICENSE
ISSUED BY IT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT:
Section 1. That for the conduct and operation of every business,
trade, profession and/or occupation carried on within the
corporate2.limi ts of the Oi ty of Clermont, there is hereby levied
and shall be collected a license fee in the amount of one-half
of the fee which is levied and collected by the State of Florida
for a license covering that particular business, trade or
profession for which such license is issued.
Section 2. Licenses issued under this Ordinance shall be for
the regular license year beginning October 1st and ending on
the following September 30th and no license for less than one
year shall be issued except that after April 1st of any. year
a license for one-half year may be issued for one-half the
annual fee.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall apply only to such transactions,
trades, professions andior occupations as are not provided for
in any other ordinance of the City of Olarmont.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed so far as such conflict exists, and
this Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and
approval by the Mayor.
