'Whereas, the bicycle is a viable and environmentally sound form of
transportation, and
'Whereas, bicycling activities have great potential to have a positive impact on
the economic and tourism industry; and
'Whereas, the education of bicyclists and motorists as to the proper and safe
operation of bicycles is important to ensure the safety and comfort of all users,
and
Whereas, Bike Florida, Inc 's mission is to promote safe and responsible cycling,
and
'Whereas, this year marks the 20th year Bike Florida, Inc has hosted a weeklong
bicycle tour encouraging motorists to SHARE THE ROAD; and
Whereas, this years' Bike Florida 2013 Annual Spring Tour will be held March
23rd through March 29th;
Now, Therefore, I, Harold S. Turville, Jr., Mayor of the City of Clermont, as
well as the City Council and the Community, hereby recognize and support Bike
Florida Inc. in their efforts.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great
