ORDINANCE NO..51 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE STANDARDS OF THE BUREAU PF SANITARY ENGINEERING OF THE STATE BOARD OF HEALTH COVERING MINIMUM REQ.UIRE- MENTS FOR SEW/AGE DISPOSAL IN THE CITY OF CLERMONT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT: SECTION 1. The provisions of the Florida State ), Sanitary Code as prepared and published by the Bureau of Sanitary Engineering of the State Board of Health with reference to min~lum requirements for sewage disposal in un-sewered areas in the State of Florida as promulgated by the said Bureau of Sanitary Engineering and adopted on February 11th, 1940, effective as of January 18th, 1941, are hereby adopted by the City of Clermont as a part of the ordinances of said City in words and figures as pub- lished by the said Bureau of Sanitary Engineering. SECTION 2. All of the provisions of the said State Sanitary Code as are contained in the notice prepared and published by the said State Sanitary Code and contained in the letter of the Bureau of Sanitary Engineering, dated March 14th, 1941, are hereby adopted and made a part of the Sanitary Code of the City of Clermont, Florida. Every application for a permit governing the installation and use of septic tanks or!)other sewage disposal devices must be submitted to the City Health Officer and approved by him before any parmit for new construction shall be issued. · SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this or- dinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
