AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF CHAPTER
Xl OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT:
Section 1. That Section 2 of Chapter Xl of the
Revised General Ordinances of the City of Clermont, Lake
County, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by
addin~ to the said section 2 the following paragraph, to-wit:
No occupational license shall be issued to any
person, firm or corporation to engage in or manage any
business, profession or occupation within the City of
Clermont unless all personal property taxes levied and
assessed by the City of Clermont against all personal
property pertaining to or used in connection with said
business, profession or occupation, shall have been paid
in full. Said personal pro.perty taxes to be paid by said
person, firm or corporation shall be such personal property
taxes as are due and payable to the City of Clermont by
said person, firm or corporation as of the date of the
issuance of said occupational l~cense.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and its being signed by the President of
the City Council and upon approval by the Mayor.
