AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTIONS 35, 36, 37, and 38,
OF CHAPTER VIII OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS
PASSED BY'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT
ON JUNE 6, 1928.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT:
SECTIONll: That Sections 35, 36, 37, and 38, of Chapter
VIII of the Revised General Ordinances of the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida, as passed by the City Council of the City
of Clermont on June 6, 1928, be respectively amended to read as
follows:
SECTION 35: The Treasurer shall keep a true and cor-
rect account of all monies received and paid out by him in his
official capacity and truthfully and faithfully account for all
monies received by him in his official capacity. The Treasurer
may delegate his duties hereunder to the City Clerk.
SECTION 36: The Treasurer shall receive all monies
belonging to the City and issue his receipt therefor to the
person or persons paying the same over to him. The Treasurer
may delegate his duties hereunder to the City Clerk.
SECTION 37: The Treasurer shall make full and detailed
report of all monies received and paid out by him in his official

capacity, one each month, or oftener, if required by the Council,

and shall submit the same to the Council together with the books
and, if found correct, the same shall be filed with the Glerk.
The Treasurer may delegate his duties hereunder to the City Clerk.
SECTION 38: Monies withdrawn from the City Treasury
may be withdrawn by warrants, vouchers, or checks, signed by
the President of the City Council and countersigned by the City
Clerk. In the absence of the President of the City council,

the Vice President of the City Council shall sign in his stead.
In the absence of the City Clerk, the Treasurer shall sign in
his stead.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and being signed by the President of the City
Council, attested to by the City Clerk and upon the approval
