ORDINANCE NO. 19-C
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, ADOPTED
BY ORDINANCE NO. 126 ON DECEMBER 7, 1954, AND RE-ADOPTED UNDER
ORDINANCE 159 DATED DECEMBER 3, 1967, AND ADOPTED AS THE "CODE OF
ORDINANCES, CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA", BY ORDINANCE NO. 202, ADOPTED
APRIL 20, 1962, AND REFERRED TO IN SAID CODE OF ORDINANCES AS SECTION
26-2 OF CHAPTER 26, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Clermont held a
public hearing on December 10, 1965, after due public and published
notice thereof, on the amending of the zoning map of the City of
Clermont, Florida, whereby the following described real property would
be re-zoned from R-l-A Residential and thereafter be designated as
R-2 Residential Zone:
Begin on South boundary of Minnehaha Avenue and
the West boundary of Drew Avenue; run South 295
feet; West 131.89 feet; North 100 feet; West to
East boundary of Knapp Street (now known as East
Avenue); North 195 feet; East 355 feet to point
of beginning;
All in the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida;
and have filed with the Council of said City their recommendation that
said area be so re-zoned; and
WHEREAS, after due public and published notice, the said Council
held a Public Hearing on the recommendations of said zoning commiss-
ion on Frebruary 8, 1966, at 7:30 P. M. and thereafter decided that
aaid property should be rezoned from R-l-A Residential to ~-2 .
Residential, and pursuant to Resolution adopted by the City Council,
and based upon its findings, said Council instructed that an
Ordinance be prepared for adoption putting into immediate effect
the recommendations of said Zoning Commission, which were accepted
and approved by this Council, thereby amending the ZDning Map
of said City to effect said recommended amendment to said Zoning
Map; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAIDNED AND ESTABLISHED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
SECTION I: That the official zoning map of the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida, as adopted under Ordinance No. 126, and dated
December 7, 1954, and as re-adopted under Ordinance No. 159, dated Decem-
ber 3, 1957, and adopted in the "Code of Ordinances, City of Clermont,
Florida", by Ordinance No. 202 adopted April 20, 1962, and referred
to in said Code of Ordinances as Section 26-2 of Chapter 26 thereof,
which Ordinances and Code established zones and districts of the
respective parcels of property located therein, be, and the same is
hereby amended as follows:
(A) The fOllowing property now located on said zoning
map to be within a R-l-A residential zone be re-zoned and hereafter
designated as and within a R-2 residential zone:
Begin on South boundary of Minnehaha Avenue
and the West boundary of Drew Avenue; run
South 295 feet; West 1313.89 feet; North 100
feet; West to East boundary of Knapp Street
(now known as East Avenue); North 195 feet;
East 355 feet to point of beginning.

SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
