AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC. 5-2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTED ON MARCH 25, 1966, TO READ
AS FOLLOWS:
BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT,LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
Sec. 5-2 Construction Zones Established
For the purpose of regulating the construction of buildings within the
City of Clermont, there is hereby established the first and second
construction zones. The first constructioR zone shall embrace all lands
within the corporate limits of the City, which according to the zone
map and zoning ordinances of the City, as adopted by Chapter 26 of
this code and zoned C-l, C-2, T-C and M-l. The second construction zone
shall embrace all lands within the corporate limits of the City, not
included in the first construction zone, including lands zoned as R-l,
R-lA and R-2.
All construction within the limits of the first construction zone shall
be equal to, or better than, type 5 (ordinary) as set forth and provided
for in the Southern Standard Building Code, 1965 Bdition, and all
construction in the second construction zone shall be equal to, or
better than, wood construction as set forth and provided for in the
Southern Standard Building Code, 1965 Edition.
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON BECOMING A LAW.
PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 25th day of March, 1966.
