RESOLUTION NO. 2013-36
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT CITY COUNCIL
GRANTING AND DELEGATING TO THE CLERMONT CITY
MANAGER THE AUTHORITY TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY ALL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AND NECESSARY TO
COMPLETE THE CLOSING AND ACQUISITION OF THAT CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS 3700 HIGHWAY 27, SOUTH IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THAT CERTAIN PURCHASE AND SALE
AGREEMENT APPROVED BY COUNCIL AND DATED OCTOBER 25,
2013 AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont and Centennial Bank entered in a Purchase and Sale
Agreement dated October 25, 1013 for the acquisition by the City of certain real property located
at 3700 Highway 27, South, Clermont, Florida; and
WHEREAS, at its December 10, 2013 meeting the City Council of the City of Clermont
approved the completion of the transaction to acquire the subject property.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1.
The Clermont City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute any and all necessary
documents on behalf of the City of Clermont to complete the acquisition of the real property
located at 3700 Highway 27, South in accordance with the October 25, 2013 agreement with
Centennial Bank.
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
DONE AND RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, on this 10th day of December, 2013.
