AN ORDINANCE MODIFYING CHAPTER 9, SEC. 9-1 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO THE
ADOPTION OF THE FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE AND DELETING FROM SAID
CHAPTER 9, SEC. 9-2 THEREOF:
BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
ChaFter 9, Sec. 9-1. Adoption of fire prevention code.
The Florida Fire Prevention Code, Edition of 1965, as distributed
by the State Treasurer and the Insurance Commissioner of the State of
Florida as State Fire Marshall, three copies of which are on file
in the office of the City Clerk, as required by law, and as herein-
after amended and modified, is hereby adopted as the Fire Prevention
Code of the City of Clermont, as if fully set forth herein verbatim.
AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that Sec. 9-2 of Chapter 9 is hereby
deleted as repetitious with Chapter 5, Sec. 5-1 of said Code.
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON BECOMING A
LAW.
