AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 25-2 ACCORDING TO THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
PROVIDING FOR THE INCREASE OF THE MINIMUM SERVICE CHARGE FROM
ONE ($1.00) DOLLAR PER MONTH TO TWO ($2.00) ÐOLLARS:J'E;R.M.QNTH; AND
PROVIDING THAT SUCH INCREASE SHALL BE USED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE
PLANNING, INSTALLATION, CONSTRUCTION, AND MAINTENANCE OF THE
PROPOSEÐ SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
ORDINANCE NUMBER 25-2, according to the Code of the
City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, be, and hereby is, amended
to read as follows:
25-2: A minimum service charge of two ($2.00) dollars
per month shall be charged each meter account for
water use. Provided further that one ($1.00) dollar
of said charge shall be used exclusively for the
planning, installation, construction, and maintenance
of the proposed Sanitary Sewer System for the City.
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON
BECOMING A LAW.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on this 23rd day of JanuarY, 1968.
