RESOLUTION NO.2014-06
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE
SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE SMALL CITIES
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT TO THE FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR FEDERAL
FISCAL YEAR 2013
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont desires to submit an application to the Florida
Department of Economic Opportunity for a Small Cities Community Development Block Grant to
benefit persons of low and moderate income.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont,
Lake County,Florida,as follows:
1. That the City of Clermont hereby authorizes the filing of an application for a Neighborhood
Revitalization Community Development Block Grant;and
2. That the Mayor of the City of Clermont is hereby authorized to execute all documents
required in connection with the filing of said application to be submitted on March 12,
2014.
3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
