AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 195, AND AMENDMENTS
THERETO, AS CODIFIED IN THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY BY PRO-
VIDING FOR THE CONTINUED ACCUMULATION OF RETIREMENT BENEFITS IN CASE
OF DEFERRED RETIREMENT. TO-WIT: BY DELETING THE LAST SENTENCE OF
PARAGRAPH 16 - 5 ACCORDING TO THE CLERMONT CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
Section 1 :
Section 16 - 5 of the Clermont Code is hereby amended by
deleting therefrom the last sentence, to-wit: "In the event of
such deferred retirement, the employee upon retirement shall re-
ceive the same monthly retirement pension that he would have re-
ceived had he retired on his normal retirement date."
Section 2 :
All Ordinances or part of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 3
This Ordinance shall be posted by law and shall become law
and shall take effect immediately upon its being posted as provided
by 1 aw.
First reading this 8th day of July, 1969.
