AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING 1967 SOUTHERN STANDARD PLUMBING CODE AS AMENDED
AND STATING SPECIFIC EXCEPTIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA, HEREBY
ORDAINS THAT:
Section 1:
The 1967 Southern Sta~rd Plumbing Code as amended through
1970 is hereby adopted by the City of Clermont, Florida, with the
following,exceptions:
Section 505 of 1970 Amendments is modified to provide:
(1) The onlyp.V.C. allowed will be Schedule 4D-DWV-PS-
2170 NSFor 4" P.V.C.-1l20 Sch 40-CS272-65 DWV
or its equal or better.
(2) Cast iron pipe is required for commecial
installations.
(3) Fiber pipe and asbestos cement pipe are not
allowed.
(4) "No hub" cast iron not allowed.
Section 2:-
This Ordinance shall be posted by law and it shall become
law and shall take effect immediately upon its being posted as
provided by law.
