AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA, REPEALING
SECTION 3-4 OF THE CODE OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA AS CODIFIED AS OF JANUARY 1,1973, AND
SUBSTITUTING THEREFORE PROVISIONS CONCERNING THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, THE
HOURS OF SAID SALE AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
SECTION 1
Section 3-4 of the Code of Ordinances as codified as of January 1,1973 is
hereby repealed.
SECTION I I
There is hereby enacted a new Section 3-4 which provides:
3-4 Hours of Sale of Alcoholic Beverages
No alcoholic or intoxicating beverages may be sold, consumed, or served, or
permitted to be sold, ,consumed or served in any establishment holding a license under
the State Beverage Department of Florida between the hours of 2 AM and 7 AM each day;
or between the hours of 2 AM Sunday morning and 7 AM Monday morning unless such
establishment is a licensed restaurant serving meals, then said establishment may
serve, sell or permit the consumption between the hours of 12 Noon Sunday and 2 AM
Monday provided meals are available for purchase and consumption on the premises.
SECTION I II
This ordinance shall take effect and become law as provided by the laws of
the State of Florida and the Charter of the City of Clermont, Florida.
