RESOLUTION NO. 2014-18
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING BUDGET
AMENDMENTS FOR THE CITY OF CLERMONT FOR FISCAL YEAR
2013-2014
WHEREAS, it is hereby found and determined by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that the following budget amendments are necessary for the
Fiscal Year October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014:
GENERAL FUND
1. Increase Federal Grants—SAFER(10331-33120-22009) $ 74,109
Increase Regular Salaries—SAFER (10522-12100-22009) $ 54,944
Increase Overtime Salaries—SAFER(10522-12120-22009) $ 3,948
Increase FICA—SAFER(10522-12220-22009) $ 4,505
Increase Defined Benefit Pension— SAFER (10522-12245-22009) $ 8,241
Increase Life Insurance— SAFER(10522-12305-22009) $ 29
Increase EAP—SAFER(10522-12315-22009) $ 24
Increase Workers Compensation—SAFER(10522-12400-22009) $ 2,418
Increase Operating Supplies (10522-55200) $ 1,353
Increase Uniforms (10522-55203) $ 49,500
Increase Licenses & Certifications (10522-55409) $ 405
To amend the budget for SAFER grant revenue and corresponding
expenditures for the nine firefighters funded by the grant, as approved
by the City Council on April 8, 2014.
2. Increase Professional Services—General (10519-53100) $ 5,400
To amend the budget for appraisal services for property on West Ave.
3. Increase Judgement and Fines Revenue(10351-35150-90030) $ 209,448
Increase Contract Svces—Red Light Camera Program(10521-53401-90030) $ 250,000
To amend the budget for the red light camera ticket revenue and
contractor services projections.
4. Increase Professional Services—Impact Fee Study(10521-53164) $ 1,980
Increase Professional Services—Impact Fee Study(10522-53164) $ 1,980
Increase Professional Services—Impact Fee Study(10542-53164) $ 1,980
To amend the budget for the final costs incurred in respect to the impact
fee study.
5. Increase Professional Services—General (10560-53100) $ 3,600
To amend the budget for the unemployment claims processing services.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above said budget amendments of
the City of Clermont for the Fiscal Year 2013-2014 are hereby adopted.
DONE AND RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, this 24th day of June, 2014.
