ORDINANCE NO. 98-C
AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ARTICLE III OF
APPENDIX A OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT;
DEFINING "OFF-STREET PARKING"; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
SECTION 1
Article III of Appendix A of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Clermont, known as the zoning regulations of the City of Clermont, is hereby
amended by adding a new definition, Number 30, OFF-STREET PARKING SPACE, which shall
read as follows:
(30) OFF-STREET PARKING SPACE: A hard-surfaced, asphaltic or
concrete space, which is:
and
A. Large enough for an automobile to be easily parked thereon;
B. Removed from and not located on any municipal street, alley,
or public way; and
C. Accompanied by and including a hard-surfaced, asphaltic or
concrete driveway for the utilization of said off-street parking space, constructed
in accordance to the applicable specifications of the City of Clermont and the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Clermont.
SECTION 2
All Ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3
Should any section or part of a section of this Ordinance be declared
invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply
or aff~ct any other provišion of this Ordinance, except to the extent that the,entire
section or part of the section may be inseparable in meaning and effect from the
section to which such holding shall apply
SECTION 4
This ðrdinance shall be published as provided by law and it shall
become law and shall take effect at 12:01 A. M. on the 27th day of September A.D.
1973.
