ORDINANCE NO. 106-C
AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING SUBSECTION F OF
SECTION 26-24 OF THE CLERMONT CODE OF ORDINANCES; AMENDING
SUBSECTION F OF SECTION 26-25 OF THE CLERMONT CODE OF
ORDINANCES; ALLOWING AND PERMITTING CHILD CARE CENTERS AS
A CONDITIONAL USE IN C-l AND C-2 ZONING DISTRICTS: REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:

SECTION ~. Subsection F of Section 26-24 of the City of Clermont Code of Ordinances
is hereby amended by adding a new Subsection, to be numbered Subsection (9), which
said Section reads as follows:
(9) Nursery Schools, Kindergartens, or Child Care Centers
provided the outdoor play area is enclosed by a fence at
least four feet high;. The school, kindergarten, or child
care center must meet all state requirements.
SECTION 2. Subsection F of Section 26-25 of the City of Clermont Code of
Ordinances is hereby amended by adding a new Subsection, to be numbered Subsection
(5), which said Section reads as following:

center must meet all state requirements.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 4. Should any section or part of a section of this Ordinance be declared
invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply
or affect any other provision of this Ordinance, except to the extent that the entire
section or part of the section may be inseparable in meaning and effect from the
section to which such holding shall apply.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be published as provided by law and it shall
become law and shall take effect 30 days from the date of its Second Reading and
Final Passage.
