Constitution Week City of Clermont
Proclamation
Whereas, the Constitution of the United States established a foundation for the
success of our nation through core beliefs such as popular sovereignty and limited
government; and
Whereas, September 17, 2014 marks the two hundred twenty-seventh
anniversary of the framing of the Constitution of the United States of America by
the constitutional convention; and
'Whereas, it is fitting and proper to officially recognize this magnificent
document and the anniversary of its creation; and
Now, Therefore, I, Harold S. Turville, Jr., Mayor of the City of Clermont
in the State of Florida, do hereby proclaim September 17 through 23, 2014 as
Constitution 'Week
in Clermont, Florida, and ask our citizens to reaffirm the ideals the Framers of the
Constitution had in 1787.
In ' Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great
Seal of the City of Clermont to be affixed this 26th day of August in the year two
thousand fourteen.
