AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMEND-
ING SECTION 22-10 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; PROVID-
ING FOR THE WORDS "AND/OR CAB" TO BE DISPLAYED; RE-
PEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERffivITH; PROVID-
ING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT HEREBY ORDAINS THAT;
SECTION 1.
Section 22-10 (c) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows;
It shall be unlawful for any taxicab to operate with-
in the city limits of the city unless the word "taxi"
and/or "cab" is displayed by sign or by painting on
the body of the vehicle on both front doors and back
below glass. No such sign or any sign shall be placed
or painted on any glass or vision area so as to obstruct
vision.
SECTION 2.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
Should any section or part of a section be declared invalid
by any court of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not
apply or affect any other provision of this Ordinance, except to the
extent that the entire section or part of the section may be insepar-
able in meaning and êffect from the section to which such holding
shall apply.
SECTION 4.

This Emergency Ordinance shall become effective upon adoption.
