AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, PRO-
HIBITING THE RIDING OF SKATEBOARDS ON THE STREETS,
ALLEYS,: PUBLIC PARKS, OR PARKING LOTS OPEN TO THE
USE OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
SECTION h
It shall be unlawful for any person to ride or use a skateboard
on the streets, alleys, public parks, or parking lots open to the use of the gen-
era 1 public.
SECTION 2.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are here-
by repealed.
SECTION 3.
Should any section or part of a section be declared invalid by any
court of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply or affect any
other provision of this Ordinance, except to the extent that the entire section or
part of the section may be inseparable in meaning and effect from the section to
which such holding shall apply.
SECTION 4.
This Emergency Ordinance shall become effective upon adoption.
