AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
FLORIDA, REFERRED TO IN SECTION 26-1 OF APPENDIX
A OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; REZONING THE REAL
PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN FROM R-2 ZONING CLAS-
SIFICATION TO C-2 ZONING CLASSIFICATION; REPEAL-
ING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVID-
ING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE;
AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
SECTION 1.
The official Zoning Map of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, is hereby amended by rezoning the follwoing described property from an
R-2 zoning classification to a C-2 zoning classification:
Lots 1 through 9, inclusive; the East 1/2 of Lot 10; and Lots
13 and 28, all being in Fairview Place, a subdivision in the
City of Clermont, according to the plat thereof recorded in
Plat Book 9, page 6, Public Records of Lake County, Florida,
and
Lot 128, Clermont Heights, a subdivision in the City of Cler-
mont, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 4,
page 1, Public Records of Lake County, Florida; and
Begin at the intersection of the South right of way line of
Hill Street and the West right of way line of Carrie Street,
according to the Official Map of the City of Clermont, re-
corded in Plat Book 8, pages 17-23 inclusive, Public Records
of Lake County, Florida; run thence South along the West right
of way line òf Carrie Street 50 feet; run thence West 85 feet;
thence North 50 feet more or less to the South right of way,
line of Hill Street; run thence East 85 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning; and
All that part of Carrie Street, now closed, lying between the
South right of way line of Hill Street and the North right of
way line of Minnehaha Avenue, according to the Official Map
of the City of Clermont, recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17-23
inclusive, Public Records of Lake County, Florida, less the
South 350 feet thereof; and
All that part of Hill Street, now closed, lying between the
West right o~ way line of Strickling Street and the East right
of way line of Disston Avenue, according to the Official Map
of the City of Clermont, recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17-23
inclusive, Public Records of Lake County, Florida, less the
West 75 feet thereof.
SECTION 2.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by

any court of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply or effect
any other provision of this Ordinance, except to the extent that the entire section
or part of the section may be inseparable in meaning and effect from the section
to which such holding shall apply.
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall be published as provided by law and it shall
become law and shall take effect 30 days from the date of its Second Reading and
Final Passage.

LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given to all concerned that the Planning
and Zoning Commission of the City of Clermont, Florida shall
hold a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers located on the
corner of West Avenue and DeSoto Streets on Tuesday, December
2, 1975 at 8:00 P.M. for the following purpose:
To consider request for the re-zoning
of the following described property
from its existing R-2 Zoning Classification
to C-2 Zoning Classification:

Lots 13 through 17; Lots 24 through 28,
all in Fairview Place Subdivision, and,
