ORDINANCE NO. 168-C
AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA, REFERRED TO IN SECTION
26-1 OF APPENDIX "A" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; REZONING THE
REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN FROM C-l ZONING CLASSIFICATION
TO R-3 ZONING CLASSIFICATION; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
SECTION 1.
The Official Zoning Map of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, is
hereby amended by rezoning the following-described property from a C-l zoning
classification to an R-3 zoning classification:
Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19, Block 45, according
to the Official Map of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida,
recorded in Official Records Book 8, pages 17-23 inclusive, Public
Records of Lake County, Florida.
SECTION 2.
All Ordinances or parts of this ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3.
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by any Court
of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply or affect any other
provision of this Ordinance, except to the extent that the entire section or part
of the section may be inseparable in meaning and effect from the section to which
such holding shal¡ apply.
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall be published as provided by law and it shall become
law and shall take effect immediately upon its Second Reading and Final Passage.

Dear Mr. Cook:
The Clermont City Council, meeting in regular session last
evening, considered a petition presented to them for the
rezoning of the aforementioned property from its existing
C-l Zoning Classification (Neighborhood Commercial District)
to R-3 Zoning Classification (Residential Professional Dis-
trict) .
As an abutting and/or adjacent property owner, you will please
be advised of the preliminary action taken by Council wherein
the necessary proposed Ordinance to rezone the property as
requested, was introduced.
Pursuant to the required time period for final consideration,
Council, in public hearing, shall consider enactment of the
proposed Ordinance at their meeting to be held on Tuesday,
February 28, 1978. You are invited to be present at the
Hearing, and all interested persons will be given an oppor-
tunity to express their views on the matter. Further, the
proposed Ordinance and an accompanying map indicating the area
as covered in the proposed Ordinance, is available for your
inspection in the office of the City Clerk, Monday thru Friday
between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
