Severability If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or provision of this ordinance is held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, whether for substantive, procedural, or other reason, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision, and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remain gin portions of this ordinance. Section 5. Inclusion in the Code. It is the intention of the Clermont City Council and it is hereby provided that the provisions of this ordinance shall be made part of the City of Clermont Code; sections of this ordinance may be renumbered or relettered to accomplish such intention; and the word "ordinance" may be changed to "section" , "article", or other appropriate designation. Section 3. Amendment. Section 2-82, City of Clermont Code of Ordinances, is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 2-82 Voting. (a) At all meetings of the planning and zoning commission, each member shall be entitled to one vote, at which time a voice vote will be taken, unless a request is made for a roll call vote. If a member has a personal conflict of interest, he may abstain under the provisions of state law. The appointed Lake Countv School District representative shall not be a voting member and shall not count in the determination of a quorum. each year, or as soon as possible thereafter and one member recommended by the Lake County School Board. The member recommended bv the Lake County School Board shall serve at the pleasure of the Lake County School Board. (b) Seats for the planning and zoning commission shall be numbered one through ftÌf!e ten. The term of each commission member shall be two years.
