CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THE cc

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont, Flonda approved a Utility i m
Service Agreement for Water and Wastewater for the subject property, dated September 16, o M Y c

WHEREAS, in accordance with the Clermont Interlocal Service Boundary Agreement z N r z 1(1
dated December 2, 2014, the subject property is eligible to be annexed into the City, and 2 g r—' 0-

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont, Flonda, has determined that it is z o Q z g
in the best interest of the City and of the property herein sought to be annexed that the City
annex the following descnbed property, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the area sought to be annexed is in
need of the services which the City can offer and the City has determined that such area sought
to be annexed will be substantially benefited by annexation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that all requirements of Section 171 044,
Flonda Statutes, have been met
SECTION 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, under the provisions of Flonda Statute
Chapter 171 and the General and Special Laws of the State of Flonda, that the City of Clermont,
Flonda, does hereby annex to and make part of its corporate boundanes, the following descnbed
property, to-wit
Legal Description
From the center of Section 26, Township 22 South, Range 26 East, run north 89-33-31west along
south line of northwest '/ a distance of 724 83' to west nght-of-way line of Hartle Road & point
of beginning, thence leaving said south line run north 01-48-40E 39 57' to the point of curvature
of a curve concave southeasterly having a radius of 480' & a chord beanng on north 29-30-49
east, thence run northerly along the arc of said curve thru a central angle of 55-24-18 for a
distance of 464 16' to the point of tangency thence run north 57-12-58 east 342 29' to the point
of curvature of a curve concave northwesterly having a radius of 380' & a chord beanng of north
28-51-44 east thence run northeasterly along the arc of said curve thru a central angle of 56-42-

That the aforedescnbed property shall be and hereby is made part and parcel of the City of
Clermont, Florida, and that said property shall be subject to all of the laws, ordinances, and
provisions pertaining to the City of Clermont
SECTION 3.
All property aforedescnbed shall henceforth be subject to ad valorem taxation by the City of
Clermont, and any other general or special taxes or assessments
SECTION 4.
Should any Section or part of a Section be declared invalid by any court of competent
junsdiction, such adjudications shall not apply or affect any other provision of this Ordinance,
except to the extent that the entire Section or part'of the Section may be separable in meaning
and effect from the Section to which such holding shall apply

SECTION 5.
This Ordinance shall be recorded in the public records of Lake County, Florida
SECTION 6.
This Ordinance shall be published as provided by law, and it shall become law and take effect
upon its Second Reading and Final Passage
