SC • CLERON1 of Champions` Wayfinding Strategy- destination hierarchy This is a comprehensive list of destinations in major categories which are appropriate to include in the wayfinding program. This list is further refined into separate tiers of priority, with distinctions among them as noted at right Prioritizing destinations is particularly important for vehicular wayfinding signs, where space is at a premium on each sign, and signs are located based on an overall circulation strategy so that routes are efficient and total number of signs is kept in check. Due to sign size and the limited number of sign locations, not all destinations may be able to appear on the wayfinding signs. However, they may still appear on pedestrian signs and maps. Tier A— Destination of primary importance, provide direction throughout city via all access routes on vehicular signs. Prominently featured on Downtown &Waterfront pedestrian wayfinding signs and maps. • City Hall • Municipal buildings (e g Police, Fire, Public Works, Environmental Services, Parks & Recreation, etc) • Hospitals • Lake Sumter State College Tier B — Major& minor destinations, consider for advance strategic wayfinding on vehicular signs. On both vehicular and pedestrian wayfinding signage. • Downtown &Waterfront Park • South Lake Trail • Boat Ramp • City Parks • Historical Village • City contractual services (e g Bikes & Boards Rentals, food, etc) \\cityhall\shares\Economic Development\JHITT\Clermont\Master Plan 2015\Wayfinding Signage\Wayfinding Sign System Plan\Wayfinding Sign Evaluation&Criteria docx CLER$DNI Choice of Champions Clermont — Wayfinding Sign Locations Wayfinding signage to be located on FDOT right-of-Way: ➢ U.S. 27 (north to south) — 4 sign locations > S.R. 50 (east to west) — 7 sign locations (one is double sided) 12 signs total Note: Maps show small scale and enlarged area for better detail. x - • CITY 0r.MINNE•LA i f e _ y Y_4 f. 4 ryfj f ."/ !/,// f - /r 6 , /// j / ♦ ,,µ /„•„) f, ! , !t.t.! - !,/// ' y - ti „ „ 27 x• rti rye ;,% r f i'/ ;IP 'Y."'//?;.'"-f"* ow- ,/4', ' ' , r /"'U'iZ7 r/ 4 50 /fr 50 J /t. 4 I I '", ' + Wil✓ !;', .„-t ,.r __ / 1 .11 '.'-,../, ,,,, „t ' fir'/ Y.,,r- I ✓/• , , .> jciL / /, r,._.13 i lk { r •,:f.,,'-' f7J / y I'-:T:FaI • - ': ./ . . f/j'/Jl.r'irr J. ►:.'.
