AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE 195, AS AMENDED AND IN-
CORPORATED IN CHAPTER 16, ARTICLE I OF THE CCDE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF CL ERMONT, PROVIDING FOR POL ICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT
REPRESENTATION IN THE GENERAL SUPERVISION OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF
THE RESPECTIVE PENSION PLANS.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida hereby
ordains that:
SECTION 1.
Article I, Section 16-7, (a), of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Clermont be amended to read as follows:
Sec. 16-7. Administration of Plan
(a) General Supervision.
1] The general supervision of the administration
of the General Employees Plan shall be by the
the City Council.
2] The general supervision of the administration
of the Police and Firemen's Plan shall be by
a seven (7) member board consisting of the
City Council and one representative from each
the Police Department and the Fire Department.
The Police and Fire representatives will serve
for two year terms and shall be elected by
personnel of the respective departments who
are qualified participants in the Police and
Fire Pension Plan.
SECTION 2.
Be it further ordained that:
The following shall be inserted following the word "Council"
in Section 16-7, (b) through (s):
", or Board regarding Police and Fire Plans".
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of this ordinance in conflict herewith are here-
by repealed. Should any section or part of this section be declared
invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, .such ajudications shall
not apply or affect any other provision of this ordinance, except to the
extent that the entire section or part of the section may be inseparable
in meaning and effect from the section to which such holding shall apply.

SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall be published as provided by law and it shall become
law and shall take effect upon adoption.
