ORDINANCE NO. . 205 -C.
AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 25-10 OF ARTICLE I, CHAPTER
25, WATERWORKS AND SEWERS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, HEREBY ORDAINS
THAT:
SECTION 1.
Section 25-10 of Article I, Chapter 25, WATERWORKS AND SEWERS, of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, is hereby amended to read
as follows:
(e) The City Manager is authorized to place moratoriums on
water used from the water supply system for lawn irrigation,
based on pressure and when demand exceeds supply. The Water
Department shall have the right to turn-off water service
SECTION 2. for any violation of such moratorium.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by any Court
of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply or affect any other
provision of this Ordinance, except to the extent that the entire section or part
of the section may be inseparable in meaning and effect from the section to which
such holding shall apply.
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall be published as provided by law and it shall become law
and shall take effect upon adoption.
First Reading this 12th day of February , 1980.
Second Reading this 11th day of March , 1980.
