RESOLUTION NO. 2016-48
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING BUDGET
AMENDMENTS FOR THE CITY OF CLERMONT FOR FISCAL YEAR
2015-2016
WHEREAS, it is hereby found and determined by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that the following budget amendments are necessary for the
Fiscal Year October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016:
GENERAL FUND
1. Increase Subscriptions & Dues (10510-55400) $ 665
To amend the City Council Department budget for membership dues for
the National League of Cities Association.
2. Increase Travel (10510-54001) $ 601
To amend the City Council Department budget for increased travel.
3. Increase Professional Services—Labor Attorney(10514-53182) $ 11,622
To amend the Legal Department budget for legal fees associated with
collective bargaining negotiations.
4. Increase Regular Salaries—(10515-12100) $ 22,429
Increase FICA—(10515-12220) $ 1,814
To amend the Development Services Department budget for the extension
of a limited duration planner position.
5. Increase Other Current Charges (10519-54900) $ 7,781
To amend the Other General Government budget for additional closing
costs associated with the Hooks Street property sale.
6. Increase Defined Benefit—Pension (10521-12245) $ 264,907
Increase Defined Benefit—Pension (10522-12245) $ 185,778
To amend the Police and Fire Department budgets for increased pension
contributions.
7. Increase Self-Insurance Liability Claims (10521-54501) $ 38,170
To amend the Police Department budget for vehicle accident claims
deductibles.

To amend the Police Department budget for the purchase of capital
equipment/bullet proof vests and associated Federal Grant funding.
9. Increase Software Renewals/Support(10521-55219) $ 15,178
To amend the Police Department budget for the purchase of computers for
vehicles.
10. Increase Public Education(10522-55403) $ 1,860
Increase Fire Services Education(10342-34225) $ 1,860
To amend the Fire Department budget for the purchase of materials for
public education and associated revenue.
11. Increase Contract Services - Cleaning(10522-53402) $ 27,749
To amend the Fire Department budget for Fire Stations contracted cleaning
costs.
12. Increase Capital Outlay- Vehicles (10522-66400) $ 30,272
To amend the Fire Department budget for the replacement of a vehicle totaled
in an accident on September 9, 2015.
13. Increase Repair&Maintenance- Pool (10575-54629) $ 47,275
To amend the Parks and Recreation Department budget for repairs to the
Arts and Recreation Center pool, as approved by the City Council on
August 19, 2016.
14. Increase Performer Fees—CPAC (10575-54922-72120) $ 55,289
Increase Event Ticket Sales—CPAC (10347-34727-72120) $ 111,272
To amend the Parks and Recreation Department budget to recognize the
performer fee expense and ticket sales for the Performing Art Center.
15. Decrease Fund Balance (10599-59900) $ 616,258
Total General Fund Adjustments.

1. Increase Capital Outlay- Promenade(32559-66301-95107) $ 871,200
Decrease Capital Outlay—Promenade(32572-66301-95107) $ 1,265,300
To amend the budget for updated Master Plan costs.
2. Increase Fund Balance(32599-59900)
Total Capital Projects Fund Adjustments. $ 394,100
SANITATION FUND
1. Increase Capital Outlay-Vehicles (49534-66400) $ 292,098
To amend the Sanitation Fund
budget for the carryforward of the
unexpended FY 2015 funds budgeted for a garbage truck.
2. Decrease Fund Balance (49599-59900)
Total Sanitation Fund Adjustments. $ 292,098
Net Decrease to Fund Balance—All Funds . $ 514,256

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above said budget amendments of
the City of Clermont for the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 are hereby adopted.
DONE AND RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, this 8th day of November, 2016.
