AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING AND PERMANENTLY ABANDONING A PORTION
OF TENTH STREET DESCRIBED HEREIN, ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL MAP
OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, RECORDED IN PLAT BOgK 8, PAGES 17 TO 23
_ INCLUSIVE, PUBLIC RECORDS OF LA~_COUNTY, FLORIDA;REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
The City
ordains that:
SECTION 1.
Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, hereby
That portion of Tenth Street located within the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, as hereinafter described, is hereby closed and permanently abandoned:
All that portion of Tenth Street bounded on the South by the
North right-of-way line of Montrose Street and bounded on the
North òy the shores of West Lake according to the Official
Map of the City of Clermont, according to the plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17 to 23, inclusive, Public
Records of Lake County, Florida.

This closing is done pursuant to the authority of the Charter of the City of ;)

Clermont, Lake County, Florida, and the general laws of the State of Florida.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of this Ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 4.
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by any
Court of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply or affect
any other provision of this Ordinance, except to the extent that the entire
section or part of the section may be inseparable in meaning and effect from

the section to which such holding shall apply.
SECTION 5.
This Ordinance shall be published as provided by law and it shall become
law and shall take effect 30 days from the date of its Second Reading and Final
Passage.
