EMERGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 111-M
AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING
FOR THE ADOPTION BY REFERENCE OF CERTAIN STANDARD CODES
RELATING TO BUILDING CONSTRUCTION; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, hereby finds
that an emergency situation exists in regard to Chapter 5 of the Code of Ordinances
relating to buildings and hereby ordains that:
SECTION 1. Adoption of Codes.
The following standard codes relating to building construction are hereby
adopted by reference as if set out in length herein and shall be controlling in
the construction of all buildings and other structures in the City of Clermont:

SECTION 2.
Standard Building Code, 1973 edition and amendments,
Standard Plumbing Code, 1975 edition and amendments,
Standard Housing Code, 1973 edition and amendments,
National Electrical Code, 1975 edition and amendments,
Standard Gas Code, 1973 edition and amendments,
Mechanical Code, 1973 edition and amendments,
Standard Swimming Pool Code, 1974 edition and amendments,
Standard 1 and 2 Family Dwelling Code, 1975 edition and amendments,
Standard Excavating and Grading Code, 1976 edition and amendments,
Standard Fire Safety Code, 1973 edition and amendments.
This is an Emergency Ordinance enacted under the provisions of Chapter 166 of
the Florida Statutes heretofore adopted by the City of Clermont.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances·or parts of this Emergency Ordinance in conflict herewith are

hereby repealed.
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by any Court
of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply or affect and other
provision of thie Emergency Ordinance, except to the extent that the entire section
or part of the section may be inseparable in meaning and effect from the section
to which such holding shall apply.
