2017-40 FCIC/N CIC/CNE'T Interagency User { Agreement between the Lake County Sheriff's Office and the Municipal Police Departments within Lake County, Florida Witnesseth Whereas, the subscribing Law Enforcement Agencies are required to provide effective Law Enforcement Operation for thebenefit of their citizens and the below listed Municipal Agencies require the use of the Mobile Data Terminals to provide accurate information during their investigations. Wherelas, Lake County Sheriff's Office Communications Center will be responsible for providing the services including FCIC/NCIC entries, modifications, cancellations, validations, confirmations and bolo's to the below listed non-entering agencies: 1. ! Astatula Police Department • 2. Clermont Police Department 3. j Fruitland Park Police Department 4. Howey in the Hills Police Department S. Lady Lake Police Department 6. Mascotte Police Department 7. Tavares Police Department 8. Umatilla Police Department • 9. 1 Any other Law Enforcement agency signors to this agreement that have dispatch services provided the p ed by t Lake County Sheriff's Office. 1 1 Now, therefore, the parties agree as follows: Section I: provisions Each of the Lake County Municipal Law Enforcement Agencies hereby approves and enters into this agreement whereby each of the agencies may use the Mobile Data Terminal Link to FCIC/NCIC/CJNET • through the Lake County Sheriff's Office. Lake County Sheriff's Office Informational Technology Division provides assistance with: The setup and maintenance of encrypted connection between Lake County Sheriff's Office and the Police Departments. Installation of Spillman software. Maintain Spillman server hardware/software configuration and maintenance. if • • Section II: Municipal Agency Responsibilities Each of the Lake County Municipal Law Enforcement Agencies hereby states that each Officer allowed access to the FCIC/NCIC/ONET systems will be allowed to do so only for official Law Enforcement purposes and that each.agency and.user will honor all requirements for training and usage as set by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Law, Florida Administrative code United States code and the code of Federal regulation. Each agency understands that any abuse of the systems may be investigated by the•Florida Department of Law Enforcement and or the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
