AN ORDINANCE UNDER TilE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING
AND PERMANENTLY ABANDONING A PORTION OF BROOME
STREET DESCRIBED IIEREIN, ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL
MAP OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK
8, PAGES 17-23, INCLUSIVE, PUBLIC RECORDS OF LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA: PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE: AND
PROVI DING Fj PUBLICATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
SECTION 1.
That portion of Broome Street located within the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, as hereinafter described, is hereby
closed and permanently abandoned:
All that portion of Broome Street bounded on the
West by the West right-of-way line of Drew Avenue
and bounded on the East by the following described
line: Begin at the NE corner of Lot 14, Block Q,
run thence N 0 degrees 17' 32" E to the center line
of Broome Street; thence run Easterly along said
center line 13.68 feet; thence N 0 degrees 17' 32"
E to the North right-of-way line of Broome Street,
all according to the Official Map of the City of
Clermont, recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17-23,
inclusive, Public Records of Lake County, Florida.
SECTION 2.
This closing is done pursuant to the authority of the
Charter of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, and the
general laws of the State of Florida.
