ORDINANCE NO. 94-M
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA DEFINING ELECTED OFFICIALS FOR SOCIAL
SECURITY PURPOSES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PRO-
VIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
SECTION 1. City Council members shall be considered public
officials of the City of Clermont and not employees of the City of Clermont
and compensation paid to City Council members shall not be subject to
social security or withholding tax.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be posted and published as provided
by law and it shall become law and take effect immediately upon the date of its
second reading and final passage.
