OROINANCE NO. 93-M
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE
ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT OF THE SUM OF ONE DOLLAR OUT
OF EVERY FINE AND FORFEITURE EXCEPT ANY VIOLATION
RELATING TO THE PARKING OF VEHICLES AS A RESULT OF
THE VIOLATION OF THE MUNICIPAL ORDINANCES OF THE
UNIFORM TRAFFIC CODE AND PROVIDING AND EFFECTIVE
DATE THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT:

WHEREAS, the jurisdiction of the Municipal Court has been transferred
to the County Judge's Court of Lake County by operation of law, and
WHEREAS, there is authority under Florida Statutes 943.25 (5) for an
additional levy of $1.00 for law enforcement education of the municipal police of said
city.
SECTION 1. That there is, pursuant to Florida Statutes 943.25(5) assessed
an additional sum of $1.00 for law enforcement education out of every fine and forfeiture
except offenses relating to parking of vehicles, by the County Court for all violations
of municipal ordinances or the uniform traffic code which shall arise within the munici-
pal limits of the City of Clermont.
SECTION II. That said additional assessment shall be paid by the County
Judge's Court as set forth in Florida Statutes 943.25(3).
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be posted and published as provided by
law and it shall become law and take effect immediately upon the date of it second

reading and final passage.
