AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA,
CLOSING AND FOREVER ABANDONING ALL THAT PART OF MAIN STREET LYING SOUTH OF DIVISION
STREET AND NORTH OF GRAND HIGHWAY; ALL THAT PORTION OF GALENA STREET LYING NORTH
OF GRAND HIGHWAY: AND THAT PORTION OF CENTER STREET AND NORTH STREET THAT
LIE WITHIN EDGEWOOD SUBDIVISION, ALL WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont has been petitioned to close all that
portion of the above described streets, and
WHEREA$, The City has duly advertised said petition and held public
hearings on this matter, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont, Florida, h~s determined
that the requested closing is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Clermont,
Florida,
THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA, HEREBY

Secti on 1.
That that part of Main Street lying South of Division Street and North
of Grand Highway, all that portion of Galena Street lying North of Grand Highway,
and that portion of Center Street and North Street that lie within Edgewood Subdivision
be and the same are hereby forever closed and abandoned as provided by Florida Law.
Section 2.
That this Ordinance shall become effective and it shall become law when ~ ~
