AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF ALL THAT PART OF
PARKWAY STREET, AS LIES BETWEEN LOT NO. [ IN BLOCK 126 AND LOT NO.
11 IN BLOCK 126A, ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL MAP OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT AND PROVIDING FOR THE RESERVATION OF AN UTILITY EASEMENT
OF 25 FEET THEREIN.
THE CITY OF CLERMONT HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
Section 1:
That certain portion of Parkway Street as lies between Lot
#1 in Block 126 and Lot #11 in Block 126A be and the same is
hereby closed and forever abandoned,
PROVIDED HOWEVER THAT THE CITY does hereby reserve unto itself
an easement 25 feet in width lying within said street equidistant
from Lot 1 in Block 126 and Lot 11 in Block 126A, said easement
may be used for any purpose whatsoever.
Section 2:
If any article, section, clause or provision of this Ordinance
be deemed or held invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction
for any reason or cause, the same shall not affect or invalidate
the whole of this Ordinance, nor any part thereof, other than that
particular provision deemd or held invalid.
Secti on 3:
All Ordinances, or parts of Ordinances, in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 4:
This Ordinance shall be posted by law and it shall become law
and shall take effect immediately upon its being posted as provided
by 1 aw.
First reading this 28th day of January, 1969.
