A RESOLUTION AU'!'HORIZING THE CITY OF CLERMONT TO
RETAIN TEN PERCENT (10~) OF THE AD VALOREM TAX
COLLECTED IN SAID CITY FOR THE PURP<k>E OF REFUND-
ING BONDS OF SAID CITY AS A SERVICE FEE FOR COLLEC-
TION OF SAID TAX. ~
BE IT R1!50LVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore authorized
the issuanoe of refunding bonds in the total amount of $335,000.00,
and;
WHEREAS, the City Council has obligated itself to the
holders of these refunding bonds to collect a minimum of .25,000.00
in taxes each year for the purpose of repaying the principal and
interest on said bonds, and;
WHEREAS, the City 01' Clermont has each and every year
collected such a sum and in such collection said City has under-
gone certain expenses, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Olermont is
desirous of providing for ~e payment of these collection expenae.
in the tuture, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMOJIT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
1. That the City Clerk of the City of Clermont be,
and he is hereby authorized to retain in the general operating
fund of the City of Clermont an amount of money not to exceed ten
percent (10%) of the total tax collected for refunding purposes
on the retunding bond issue of 1950.
2. BE IT FURTHE.H RESOLVED that there shall be tax

collected in an amount sufficient to provide for the required min-
imum of $25,000.00 to be applied toward the refunding of the bond
issue ot' 1950, in addition to the collection fee provided for
herein.
