WHEREAS, after due consideration by the City Council of the
City of Clermont, is found and determined that it will be to the best
interests of the City to purchase, install, operate and maintain, a
semi-traffic-actuated signal at the intersection of State Road 50 and
Fifth Street in Clermont, Florida; and
WHEREAS, Permit No. 6I-40 issued by the State Road Depart-
ment of Florida on May 5, 1961 for the installation of same will be
cancelled unless used without further delay.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the purchasing
agent of the City of Clermont be authorized and directed to immediately
advertise for bids for the installation of the above described traffic
signal and that it be installed without undue delay; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be
mailed to Mr. Richey Green, District Engineer of the State Road
Department of Florida, Deland, Florida.
